Florianópolis

Florianópolis is the surf capital of Brazil with beautiful beaches and a lot of excitement.

Regarding crime, among Brazilian capitals it is relatively safe for tourists, but in recent years there has been an increase in violence, so pay attention to some guidelines:

1. Two trails for walking in groups only: Trilha do Poção and Trilha da Barra da Lagoa.
2. Avoid staying on the beaches at night.
3. When walking on trails between the beaches, do not take valuables and always try to walk in groups.
