Porto Seguro

Porto Seguro is one of the main destinations for foreign and Brazilian tourists in Bahia, with access to beautiful beach towns such as Arraial d’Ajuda, Trancoso and Caraíva.

Although it is not the capital of Bahia, the city is not as safe for crime as other small towns. So pay attention to a few points:

1. Do not use valuables on the street.
2. At night, be careful when moving between the beaches or out of town with Bugue or rental car.
3. Avoid deserted beaches and don’t leave your objects unattended on the beach when you go to sea.
